Welcome to the website of Scottish entertainer, Dennis Alexander. His songs come from the heart, and his humour from a very mixed up head. Scotland, music and comedy feature a great deal in his shows, but he is equally enjoyed by all audiences and with his partner in Crooked Jack has travelled extensively.
He likes to keep his work varied, so everything from concerts, pub nights, wedding ceilidhs, children's concerts are performed with a great variety of songs and humour. He is well loved as a family entertainer at Parkdean Holiday Parks in Scotland, The Hilton Coylumbridge and at the Kilconquhar Castle Estate having played them all regularly over the last 20 years. His act is ideally suited to golf and bowling clubs, community events and fundraisers
Most years he tours New Zealand as a duo with amazing accordionist David Vernon as Scotia's Hardy Sons. In 2013 he will be adding solo gigs to the tour, with appearances at Folk Clubs, RSA's and restaurants culminating in performing Scotch Broth in schools round the South Island in March
If you are interested in booking him, feel free to use the contact page or phone him directly 07774 722631. Distance is no object and I'm up for anything!
Here are the Facebook conversations for all my shows.
